Our passion for skincare starts with an ingredient that continues to inspire us: 5-ALA (5-aminolevulinic acid).
In Japan, it has been used successfully in cosmetics for many years, and clinical studies confirm its benefits - increased hydration, fewer fine lines, and a visibly more even complexion.
In 2021, we founded SBI Cosmetics & Health as a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company photonamic, and in 2024, we opened our US branch in New York with a clear vision: to bring the power of 5-ALA to the United States.
